Living on the Edge

About Edgemere Park

The name “Edgemere Park” signifies not only our charming neighborhood, but also the beautiful park that is the physical center and literal heart of the neighborhood.  Except for the boundary streets, all roads in the neighborhood lead to the park following the natural contours of the land.

Located in the near northwest quadrant of Oklahoma City, Edgemere Park is one of the City’s most desirable and vibrant neighborhoods.  It is bounded on the north by NW 36th Street, the South by NW 30th Street, the east by Robinson Avenue and the west by Walker Avenue.

Edgemere Park is designated as a Historic Preservation District with most residences being constructed during the 1920s and 1930s.  Tudor Revival architecture dominates the neighborhood, but numerous other styles can be found including Colonial Revival, Spanish Eclectic and Art Moderne.

An active neighborhood association, Edgemere Park Preservation, Inc. hosts numerous social events during the year, produces a quarterly newsletter and manages maintenance of common areas.
